We have just received some of the new Heather Ross collection from Kokka. It is the Princess and the Pea, some frogs, unicorns and flowers. It is really cute. Lot’s of new fabric arriving in the next few weeks…

Journal Quilt Group with Catherine Conkey $10 1st Thursdays 6:30-8:00pm Journal Quilts are mini quilts the size of a piece of paper, 8 1/2 X 11 inches. By working small, you can try out new techniques, and experiment without a huge time or fabric investment, and it is really fun. Catherine will demonstrate a technique, and give you a word and phrase to use as inspiration. A member of the group gets to choose a focus fabric and then it is up to you to put your spin on the theme. At the following months meeting , you return with your finished quilt for “show & tell”. The results can be funny, amazing, inspiring, touching , or thought provoking…and all in one night! All skill levels are welcome.
Hand Stitching/Wool group with Jolyn Buhl $10 4th Thursdays 6:00-8:00pm Work on your hand stitching project and get some tips and tricks to make the going easier. No machines !!!
Fix it & Finish it Class with Sue Terpin $25 4th Sundays 5:30-8:30pm Need help with a pattern? Never finished that skirt because you ran into construction problems? Is your invisible zipper visible? Bring in your unfinished garment/troubled sewing project and Sue will help you get it done. Class size is limited to 4 people so everyone gets personal attention and a chance to clear up those unfinished or problem projects. Be sure to sign up early! all skill levels welcome space still available for March 28th session.
Toddlers Dress with Sue Terpin $20 Sunday March 14th 9:00-11:30am The pattern for this cute and easy dress can be found in the book “Making Childrens Clothes” which is available for purchase at the shop for $17.95 with your paid registration (normally $19.95), or bring your own copy of the book. The pattern is quick and simple and you’ll be whipping these up for your little girl in no time. skill level: confident beginner

Just in time for spring break! Keep your little ones faces out of the sun, or Sue can help you modify the pattern to make an adult sized hat. Beginning Sewing with Sue Terpin $45 Tuesdays March 30th, April 6th & 13th 6:30-9:00pm Make a pair of PJ pants for yourself while learning the basics and getting to know your machine. You will learn to trace, read, and cut out a pattern, finish your seams, hem and make a buttonhole. ”Weekend Sewing” by Heather Ross is required for the class pattern. You may purchase the book for $23.50 with your paid registration (normally $27.50) or bring your own copy to trace the pattern from. You’ll be making these for the whole family in no time! Juliet Tunic with Sue Terpin $45 Mon/Wed April 5th, 7th & 12th 6:30-9:00pm Get ready for warmer weather with this great pattern you can make as either a top or lengthen it into a dress. ** There is a 3 student minimum on most of our classes. If we cannot fill the class we will let you know 1 week prior and of course refund your class fee.
