Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year !!!   Thanks to everyone who participated in our “we don’t want to count so much inventory sale”.   Thanks to you, for making those bolts that much lighter, and to Pam’s brother Brian who did all of the heavy lifting. He may have started out the day as “bolt boy” but by days end he was totally upgraded to  ”fabric stud”.   Inventory went way faster than we could have hoped for.   There was even enough time in the day left to enjoy some festivities.  Thanks Brian.

The winner of the cool cottons bag o’ goodies was Amy Pond.   Congratulations Amy, we hope you like it.

If you’ve been into the shop this past week you may have noticed that we finally got our hand rails installed on our lower steps.  New steps this past summer, new hand rails for Christmas,  good times.  Maybe the Easter bunny will bring us a new paint job?

You also may have noticed just how cute the fabric pictured above is.  We just got a huge delivery from Kokka, which is the Japanese fabric company that does so many beautiful/quirky/odd/fun prints.  There are canvas weights, regular quilting weight cottons and even some double gauze fabrics. All of them fabulous.   Come in and check them out.

We hope everyone has a spectacular 2010 and we hope to see you soon…
